Why I made this
I wanted my kids to see what I see in them.
My kids are amazing. Each of them is good at something the others aren't, and each of them is kind in their own way. They also live in a world that can be hard on them. Some days it tells them they aren't enough, and I'm not always there to tell them otherwise.
I wanted to give them something that would say it for me. So I wrote each of them a book.
Not long ago, a full illustrated novel with its own audiobook, written around one specific kid, would have taken months to make. The tools we have today changed that. I could write, illustrate and narrate a story shaped around each of my kids in a matter of days, and spend my time on the part that mattered: getting them right.
In every one, my kid is the main character. The story is made up, but the hero is them: their curiosity, their stubbornness, the way they notice when someone is left out. Those are the things that save the day. Their name is on the cover, and the first pages are a dedication and a letter from me about who they are and who I think they can become.
Nobody else has those books. I wanted them to have something they could pick up on a hard day and read, or listen to, and remember how much they matter.
Then I thought about how many people would want to do the same for someone they love. That's why I built this.

Who would you write one for?
Anyone who could use a reminder that they're the hero of their own story.
Your kids
Kids hear a lot about what they should be. A book where they're the hero, written about the things they're already good at, tells them something different. Narrate it yourself and they can hear you read it any night.
Your grandkids
If you live far away, the audiobook can be in your voice. They get a story about themselves, read by you, whenever they want it.
A friend
For a big birthday, a graduation, or a year that has been hard. It's a way to tell them what you admire about them that they'll keep.
A coworker
For a retirement, a promotion, or the person who holds the team together. The whole team can sign the foreword.
Who comes to mind?
Tell us about them. You don't need a story idea. We'll take it from there and reply by email.
